SICAMM 2027 Conference in Ireland
SICAMM and the Native Irish Honey Bee Society are delighted to confirm that the 2027 SICAMM Conference will be hosted in Ireland by NIHBS.
Preparations are underway for what promises to be a memorable gathering of scientists, beekeepers, conservationists and enthusiasts committed to the protection and future of the European dark honey bee.
Delegates can look forward to a warm Irish welcome and a programme featuring the latest scientific developments, conservation initiatives and practical experiences from across the international native honey bee community.
The 2027 conference will provide an important opportunity to share knowledge, strengthen international collaboration and continue the work of conserving locally adapted populations of Apis mellifera mellifera.
Further information about the programme, venue, registration and travel arrangements will be published as planning progresses.

Another important benefit of Snow Rider is that it encourages quick reactions. The game becomes increasingly challenging as players travel down the snowy mountain, and they must respond to obstacles before it is too late.
Players may encounter trees, rocks, snowmen, fences, and other objects that can end their journey. Avoiding these obstacles requires quick thinking and immediate responses.
As players become familiar with the game, they may improve their ability to recognize obstacles and respond more efficiently.
Developing quick reflexes through gaming can be useful in situations that require attention and fast responses. However, the benefits should not be exaggerated because improvements in a video game do not automatically translate into better reflexes in every real-life snowrider situation.
